Liza completed her undergraduate studies in Biology from the College of Staten Island.  Upon completion of these studies, she then attended the Bayley Seton Physician Assistant Program in Staten Island, New York and has been a practicing Physician Assistant since 1987.  Prior to joining Dr. Griner’s practice, Liza worked as a Physician Assistant in Family Practice/Internal Medicine in Jacksonville, Florida.

Liza is certified through the National Commission of Physician Assistants and is licensed in the state of Georgia.  To maintain her certification and licensure, she must complete 100 hours of continuing medical education every two years.

Liza has been a resident of Gwinnett County since 1997.  She is married and has two children.

Dr. Plotnick completed two years of General Surgery and four years of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery residency at Eastern Virginia Medical University in Norfolk, VA.

Dr. Plotnick is a Diplomate of the American Board of Otolaryngology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.  His other affiliations include membership in the American Medical Association, the Metro Atlanta Society of Otolaryngology and the Georgia Society of Otolaryngology.

Dr. Plotnick practices all aspects of adult and pediatric Otolaryngology, both medical and surgical, and particularly enjoys treatment of chronic ear and sinus disease, and head and neck surgery.

Dr. Plotnick  is on the staffs of Emory Eastside Medical Center, Gwinnett Medical Center, Joan Glancy Outpatient Surgery Center (Duluth), SCA Outpatient Surgery Center of Gwinnett, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta (Scottish Rite Hospital; Outpatient Surgery Center of Gwinnett at Satellite Blvd in Duluth) and Surgical Care Affiliates of Gwinnett.

Dr. Griner is a Diplomate of the American Board of Otolaryngology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.  In addition, she is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.  Other affiliations include memberships in the American Medical Association and the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.  Dr. Griner is active in the local and state Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery Societies and has served as president of both local and state organizations.  She is also active in the national organization, having served as the Georgia representative on the Board of Governors for six years.

Dr. Griner is the author of several articles in the Otolaryngology specialty literature.  She practices all aspects of Otolaryngology, but particularly enjoys functional surgery of the nose and sinuses.

Dr. Griner is on the staffs of Emory Eastside Medical Center, Gwinnett Medical Center, and Surgical Care Affiliates of Gwinnett.
